Weather Advisories Conclude for Greater Toronto Area

The rainfall warning and weather advisory regarding the potential formation of funnel clouds in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) were lifted on Saturday evening. Environment Canada had issued the advisories shortly after 2 p.m., cautioning about the likelihood of funnel clouds and heavy showers accompanied by isolated thunderstorms.

Forecasts predicted rainfall ranging from 50 to 75 millimetres for Toronto and nearby regions. However, both advisories came to an end just before 6:30 p.m.

For those participating in the Toronto Pride Parade on Sunday, the weather will feature a mix of sun and clouds, with temperatures reaching a high of 27°C.

On Monday, showers are expected to return, accompanied by a high of 21°C.
