Men arrested over alleged weed truck in Melbourne

Police officers were on patrol on Friday night when they saw a rental truck traveling through Whittlesea just after midnight and intercepted the vehicle, noticing strong smell of cannabis.

A 28-year-old Brighton man and his passenger, a 29-year-old Bulleen man, have been charged with possessing and trafficking a commercial quantity of cannabis and will appear in court on Saturday.
