Bus carrying 40 children crashes in the French Alps, resulting in 21 injuries

40 elementary school students were on board a bus that crashed in the French Alps on Saturday, leaving the driver and his partner hospitalized with serious injuries.

18 children and one adult were treated for minor injuries, according to Fabien Mulyk, the mayor of the town where the incident occurred.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, but local officials have said that weather conditions were clear and all the children were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
