Trudeau: I will defend Canadian interests if Trump goes too far

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he would protect the interests of Canadians if they clash with the agenda of U.S. Donald Trump.

Trudeau said his top responsibility is to serve the interests of the country that elected him said in an interview with The Canadian Press.

“The weight of responsibility I feel on my shoulders is very much related to Canadians and their expectations of what their government can do for them and how we can improve Canada’s standing at home and in the world,” Trudeau said.
