Stoltenberg says Ukraine needs to acquire necessary weapons in preparation for Putin’s new offensive

On Tuesday, the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, reiterated the need for NATO to ensure that Ukraine is equipped with the necessary weapons “to win this war.”

He stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin was not preparing for peace, but rather, “preparing for more war,” and there were no indications of peace preparations.

Stoltenberg referred to the conflict as a “grinding war of attrition,” emphasizing the significance of logistics.

He further mentioned the need for Ukraine to acquire additional weapons and for discussions about the possibility of providing aircraft to Ukraine.
