Saudia Airlines Makes Emergency Landing in India Due to Cracked Windshield during Flight

A Saudia airlines flight had to make an unscheduled landing in Kolkata, the capital city of the Indian state of West Bengal, on Saturday after the windshield cracked mid-air, according to ANI news agency.

The flight, which was a cargo flight, landed safely at 12:20 p.m. Indian standard time, and all necessary arrangements were made by the airport, with the full emergency being withdrawn once the aircraft landed.

There is no further information yet from Saudia, the Kingdom’s flag carrier and former Saudi Arabian Airlines.
