Kevin Costner and wife Christine Baumgartner to divorce after 19 years

Kevin Costner and his wife Christine Baumgartner have announced their divorce after almost 19 years of marriage.

The couple met in 1999 when Baumgartner was a model, and Costner was preparing for a role as a golf prodigy in the romantic comedy “Tin Cup.”

At the time, Costner was married to his first wife, Cindy Silva, with whom he had three children.

The couple divorced in 1994.

Costner had a son with Bridget Rooney and reportedly dated Birgit Cunningham and Elle Macpherson before marrying Baumgartner in 2004.

They have three children together.

The couple has not publicly commented on the reason for their split.
