Drake and The Weeknd-inspired AI song gains millions of streams

Drake and The Weeknd, two of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B, have been featured on a new song titled “Heart on My Sleeve,” but they have nothing to do with its production. The song was posted on TikTok by a mysterious person called ghostwriter977, who claims to have used artificial intelligence to produce the song. The producer stated in the video that the song was entirely made by AI. Despite this, the song has already been played more than 9.2 million times on TikTok and received more than 250,000 plays on Spotify. Fans are pleased with the new song and describe it as having an eerie similarity to the voices of the two artists themselves.

In reaction to his voice being used virtually on a cover of Bronx, NY rapper Ice Spice’s “Munch (Feelin’ U),” Drake wrote, “This is the final straw AI,” in a post to his Instagram.
