British radio host Gavin Ford found dead in Lebanon

Prominent Lebanon’s Radio One host Gavin Ford was found dead Tuesday in his apartment in Beit Mery, with the preliminary investigation noting that his car was stolen.

Ford, who had been hosting his show “Gavin Ford in the morning” for more than a decade, was found dead with his body covered in blood.

The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.

A statement posted on Radio One’s Facebook page said, “We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague Gavin Ford. The management and team express our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and colleagues. May his soul rest in peace.”
