Beirut Blast felt throughout Cyprus

The large blast that rocked Lebanon’s capital Beirut was felt in Cyprus, over 200 km away, local Cypriot media reported on Tuesday night.

The blast at the port in Lebanon’s capital caused damage throughout the city, and as many as 4000 reported injured, over 100 dead and many more still missing.

Local media showed people trapped beneath rubble, and buildings crumbled and glass was shattered in areas kilometers away from the blast site and in the waters of the port.
