Nine days after the issuance of an Amber Alert for two children allegedly abducted by their mother, Surrey RCMP has provided updates on the investigation, revealing additional details about the vehicles and trailers involved.
The ongoing Amber Alert, initiated on July 19, seeks to find 10-year-old Joshuah Bolton and 8-year-old Aurora Bolton, who were last expected to return to their father’s residence in Surrey on July 17 after a trip to the Okanagan with their mother, Verity Bolton.
According to the Surrey RCMP news release on Thursday, authorities are actively pursuing every tip they receive to locate the missing children and bring them to safety.
The current belief is that the children are in the company of three adults: Verity Bolton, her 53-year-old boyfriend Abraxas Glazov, and her 74-year-old father Robert Bolton. The vehicle in which they are traveling is a dark blue 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 with the British Columbia license plate SJ2708. Notably, this vehicle has been spotted towing three different trailers.
In addition to the Dodge Ram, the RCMP now suspects that Verity Bolton and Glazov may have access to another vehicle, a green 1996 Mitsubishi Delica. This right-hand drive vehicle is registered to Verity Bolton but is uninsured, and there is no information about its license plates.
Authorities have also provided further details about two of the three trailers that Verity Bolton may be in possession of. The first trailer, seen in Kamloops on July 15, is a white 2018 Maverick Highside horse trailer with the British Columbia license plate 05994K. The second trailer, observed in Chilliwack on June 30, is a brown 2018 Cougar trailer, model 368, with the British Columbia license plate WPM71B.
Staff Sgt. Dave Strachan emphasized the importance of continued vigilance from the public and urged anyone with possible sightings or relevant information about the case to come forward. While the last confirmed sighting of Verity Bolton was on July 15 in Kamloops, investigators are considering the possibility that she may have traveled elsewhere since then, given her access to multiple vehicles and trailers.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Joshuah and Aurora Bolton is urged to contact the dedicated tip line at 604-599-7676. The search for the missing siblings continues as the community and authorities work tirelessly to reunite them with their family.
