Singer Harry Styles experienced an unfortunate incident during his “Love on Tour” concert in Vienna. Video footage shared by concert attendees on social media shows Styles walking on stage when an object is thrown and hits him directly in the eye. The impact visibly causes him pain, leading him to momentarily bend over and hold his head before continuing with his performance.
As of now, Styles has not provided any updates on his social media accounts regarding the incident. CNN has reached out to his representative for comment, seeking further information about the situation.
This is not the first time Harry Styles has been targeted with objects while performing. In a previous incident during a Los Angeles concert in 2022, videos circulated online showing Styles being hit by Skittles that were thrown at him. Following that incident, the official Skittles Twitter account posted a message requesting people not to throw Skittles.
Unfortunately, Styles is now added to the growing list of artists who have recently been struck by objects while performing on stage. This includes Drake, Bebe Rexha, Kelsea Ballerini, and Ava Max, all of whom have experienced similar incidents captured in various videos shared on social media.
Bebe Rexha and Drake were both hit by cell phones thrown at them during their performances. Rexha suffered a serious eye injury as a result. Kelsea Ballerini was struck in the face by a bracelet thrown from the audience during a June performance, causing her to momentarily pause the song and step offstage. Ava Max was hit in the face by a concertgoer who managed to breach the stage but was swiftly removed by security.
The increasing number of these incidents has raised concerns among artists and sparked calls from performers like Adele, who recently addressed her Las Vegas audience, urging them to refrain from throwing objects at artists during their shows.
